King Charles awards OBE to historian in Harry & Meghan docuseries, while William honours Bonnie Tyler

K?ing Charles has remained quiet in the aftermath of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tell-all docuseries, which dropped in December.
But the monarch didn't let any personal feelings over the controversial six-part series get in the way of duty.
His Majesty awarded British-Nigerian historian and filmmaker David Olusoga with an OBE on Tuesday, just weeks after the writer appeared in Harry & Meghan.

Olusoga, also professor of public history at the University of Manchester and was recognised in 2019 with an OBE for "services to history and community integration".
However, due to the pandemic, ?the 53-year-old was only able to collect his honour at Windsor Castle this week.

The author of the best-selling book Black and British จC an account of the role Black people have played in Britain's history จC appeared towards the end of episode two in the docuseries.
He claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's "fairytale" was soured against the backdrop of Brexit.
"This fairytale is embedding itself in a nation that is having a pretty toxic debate about the European Union," he said.
He argued "immigration was at the absolute centre" of the debate around Brexit and that "immigration in this country is very often a cypher for race".
"It was an auspicious moment for Britain to be trying to live out this fairytale story of this fairytale princess," Olusoga concluded.
This interview led into Meghan speaking about the racism she endured in the UK after she began dating Prince Harry in 2016.
King Charles wasn't the only one handing out medals at investiture ceremonies, with Prince William stepping in at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.
Among others, the Prince of Wales honoured Gaynor Sullivan จC better known as singer Bonnie Tyler.
The 71-year-old collected her MBE after being made a Member of the Order of the British Empire? in the Queen's Jubilee Birthday Honours last year, for services to music.
The Total Eclipse Of The Heart singer, who is from Wales, described the moment of being given the honour from Prince William as "magnificent"?.
"It was a very exciting day, one I'll never forget. I'm a very happy girl," Tyler said.
