Four common mistakes people make around Guide Dogs and their handlers

When it comes to keeping Guide Dogs and their handlers safe, there are a few common mistakes people make regularly.
As 9Honey Pets expert Dr Katrina Warren explains, ?one of the biggest misconceptions is that it's ever OK to touch a working Guide Dog.
The dogs are "working" whenever they are wearing their harness.?

"Even if you think the handler might need help?, you must ask the handler first," the veterinarian says.
If you have your own dog it's also important to remember that it's never OK to let your dog 'say hello' to a Guide Dog.
?"You should never approach a Guide Dog and make sure you give your dog space to walk past," Warren adds.

And if you thought it was the Guide Dog generally 'controlling' the situation while out with their handler, then you also thought wrong.
