Princess Martha Louise of Norway is engaged: 'The one who makes my heart skip'

Princess M?rtha Louise of Norway has announced her engagement to author and 'spiritual advisor' Shaman Durek Verrett.
The couple has been together for three years, both sharing the happy news on their Instagram accounts.
In her post, Princess M?rtha describes her new fiance as "the one who makes my heart skip, the one who sees me and acknowledges me from my highest potential, who makes me laugh and who I can be vulnerable with".

Verrett, 47, shared the same photo of the couple, with Princess M?rtha's stunning ring on display, writing, "She said YES! When you know you know. There is nothing better than having clarity as a man that the woman that stands in front of you is the one."
"I'm overjoyed with tears that I get to spend the rest of my life with the most pure hearted, angelic, wise, powerhouse woman who represents all levels of a goddess in my eyes," his post continues.
"Together as a soulful spiritual couple, we will use our power to support the people to create a world based in love and acceptance. Changing the world through our love."

"Princess M?rtha Louise is the love of my life. She sees all aspects of me, and I see all of her. I am a guy who loves a girl who loves me back. I get to show and demonstrate to this divine woman how much I love her for the rest of my life.
"I am the happiest I have ever been... Thank you to my beloved family and friends. I love you!"
Princess M?rtha is fourth in line to the Norwegian throne and the only daughter of King Harald V and Queen Sonja.
It was May 2019 when the royal announced her romance with the American shaman, who has worked with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow.
Princess M?rtha, who describes herself as a clairvoyant, went on a speaking tour that year called 'The Princess and the Shaman', teaming up with Verrett, a self-described "spiritual guide and gifted healer".
She later apologised after the use of her princess title in the name of the tour caused controversy, and confirmed she would no longer use it for professional endeavours.
"I have said before that I am very sorry, and I still stand by that. It was a mistake."
A year into her romance with Verrett, she spoke about how the relationship had changed her perspective in a post on her previous Instagram page.
"Being @shamandurek 's girlfriend has given me a crash course in how white supremacy is at play and the way I have consciously and subconsciously thought of and acted towards black people.
"How I have taken my rights for granted - never looked properly at what racism really is, because it has been comfortable for me that the system is in place," the royal captioned a black and white photo with Verrett.
"I am not proud of it, but I realise I need to grow into understanding this deeply rooted system to be able to be part of the dismantling of it. I, as a white person, need to grow, educate myself and become better and move from being against racism to being anti-racist."
"Racism is not just the obvious (which I thought it was), of the openly discrimination, mistreating and killing of black people which is easy and obvious to take a stand against. It is in the details (which I had no idea still existed). It is in the way people shy away from Durek. How friends assume he lies about everything.
The royal ends her post by saying: "The reality of it all is that I love how he holds space for me as a woman, listens to my wisdom and shows up for me and my girls. I love how he shares his wisdom with the world."
Princess M?rtha was married to author Ari Behn for 15 years. They divorced in 2017, and he died by suicide on Christmas Day in 2019.
The couple had three daughters: Maud Angelica, Leah Isadora, and Emma Tallulah.
