I?t's been a year of challenges for the Princess of Wales, but she's found some joy in hosting her annual Together at Christmas carol service once again for 2024.
Kate, who has spent much of the year out of the public eye while undergoing cancer treatment, returned to London's Westminster Abbey on the evening of December 6 (early December 7, Australian time) for the recording of the event, which will air on UK TV on Christmas Eve.
As always, she was joined by members of the royal family, as well as some famous guests including actress Hannah Waddingham and singer Paloma Faith.
Keep going to see all the best photos from this year's gathering.

The Princess of Wales was among the first to arrive ahead of the concert.
The hostess opted for a cherry red full-length coat with a contrasting ¨C not to mention very on-trend ¨C black bow and buttons. This was matched with suede knee-high heeled boots.
Kate wore her long hair in her signature bouncy blowdry, tucked behind her ear to showcase a pair of pearl drop earrings.
On arrival, the royal greeted the clergy and appeared to check off some last-minute plans, as she spoke animatedly with her hands.
The colour co-ordinated trio made their way inside the famed London landmark together.
It's not known if Kate's choice of her bright red Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen coat dress (which she's worn numerous times over the years) was intended to match.
Once inside, the Princess of Wales walked over towards children who are performing at the Together At Christmas carol service.
The mum-of-three was sure to calm nerves as she shook hands and spoke to the youngsters.
Actor Richard E. Grant, who will give a reading during the service, bowed his head respectfully as he shook hands with the royal backstage.
Kate also met with singers Gregory Porter, Olivia Dean and Paloma Faith before they performed during the celebrity-filled evening.
Kate shared a lighter moment too, seen laughing heartily as she spoke with Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer Paloma Faith.
As the princess greeted celebrity performers inside the show, a number of celebrity guests began arriving outside the Abbey.
Hannah Waddingham was among them in a festive green and berry ensemble.
Olympic cyclist Sir Chris Hoy, who announced his own (terminal) cancer diagnosis just a few months ago, was at Westminster Abbey with wife Sarra Kemp.
During the service, Hoy will light a candle together with Lindsey Burrow, the widow of former Rugby League player and podcast co-host Rob Burrow, who lost his much publicised battle with motor neurone disease (MND) in June.?
Another Olympian involved in the service is British swimmer Adam Peaty.
He will give a reading during the evening and arrived hand-in-hand with his fianc¨¦ Holly Ramsay, the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
And it wasn't just the celebrities ¨C the royals also made their way inside.
Lord Frederick Windsor and his actress wife Sophie Winkleman arrived with their daughters, who were dressed in matching forest green coat dresses.
Zara Tindall arrived in a velvet burgundy suit alongside cousin Princess Beatrice and her family.
The expectant Princess of York attended with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and his son Christopher 'Wolfie' Woolf. Their daughter Sienna, three, appeared to have stayed home.
Wolfie, who was dressed smart for the service, stayed close to his dad as they made their way inside.
Princess Beatrice left her coat unbuttoned in the milder winter temperatures showing a hint of her growing baby bump.
The couple are expecting their second child together around March/April 2025.
Here's a gorgeous shot of the trio as they walked into the Abbey for the service.
Also in attendance was Lady Gabriella Windsor, who has also endured a challenging 2024.
Gabriella's husband Thomas Kingston was found dead in February, only a few months before the couple were due to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary.?
Kate's family were also there for her on her special night.?
The princess' brother James Middleton attended with his wife Alizee Thevenet, as did sister Pippa Middleton (centre) and mum Carole Middleton (far right).
