'Everyone hates me': New mum shares the reality of nightmare flight with her baby

Any parent who's flown with a small child or baby knows the absolute fear and anxiety that takes hold long before you even step foot on the plane.?

For new mum Jess, that became a reality during a recent solo flight with her four-month -old daughter and she documented the flight, which she later shared on TikTok.?

Jess' video has been watched by thousands and of course has left people divided.

"Has anyone else had an experience like this? It was sooo hard! To be concerned for Charlotte plus everyone else having to listen to her cry," she captioned the video.?Watch the video above.

Checking in and going through security went well, but it all took a turn for the worse when they were waiting for their flight.?

Her daughter Charlotte eventually had a nap as they waited to board, but once they got on board and the flight left, that's when it all unravelled.?

"Everyone hates me, I'm so close to just crying with her," Jess told the camera.?

At her next timestamp she was crying as Charlotte cried too.?

As she kept documenting their flight, her daughter kept crying, and through her own tears Jess tried to soothe her baby, but it wasn't working.?

"I'm trying my best," she told the camera.?

Her husband was there at the other end waiting to pick them both up, with a pizza waiting for her too C which definitely improved things.?

Giving a quick recap to the camera she explained, "Charlotte screamed her head off, but I survived, and that's it. This is one of the worst case scenarios guys and we made it through."?

Some people in the comments offered advice for Jess for next time, many of them urging her to give Charlotte something to help her ears for takeoff like breastfeeding her then, or letting her suck on a dummy.

But many of them just offered her support and reassured her that she's doing a great job.

"?Your amazing mama. Don't let others get you down. Babies do what they are going to do. It's so easy to feel judged and defeated," replied one woman.

Another commented, "?You don't need to worry about others! Most everyone has earbuds. They can be mildly inconvenienced for a few hours. You just focus on you and your baby!"

"You're okay, you're a good mom don't let people tell you otherwise," wrote another woman.
