By Nikolina Koevska Kharoufeh |

The determination of a toddler is often underestimated by parents. Especially when the task involves a tasty snack.

One mum has been left both stunned and confused by her one-year-old son's abilities, after finding him devouring a box of chips that she believed she had put out of reach.

The mum turned to home security camera vision to find her toddler had impressively used a few props to cleverly retrieve the packet behind her back.

"That's actually really impressive," one person commented on video which was posted to TikTok.

In the video, which has been viewed over a million times, the toddler is seen? standing behind a child security gate watching an episode of Bluey in the living room.

Clearly hungry, he has noticed a container of Doritos sitting on the kitchen bench on the other side of the locked gate.

Though he doesn't let that get in his way.

The one-year-old manages to get his hands on a nearby broom, and uses it to push the chip container off the bench, dropping right by the gate in front of him.

Once he gets the container down to his ?level, the boy astonishingly grabs the container through the bars of the gate and lifts it up over the top.

He walks away with the container in hand and pretty impressed with himself. ?And that's not the only impressing he does.

The clever toddler's mum Amy was so confused at how he got his hands on the chips when she later found him, that she looked back at footage to see what happened.

So stunned by the manoeuvre, ?the mum uploaded the vision to her TikTok with the caption, "One year old uses a broom to get Doritos. Doritos are LIFE."

And the vision has left millions more than impressed.

"This could be one of those Doritos Super Bowl commercials! Little smarty pants!?" one person commented.

Another wrote, "Using his logic and reasoning skills better than some adults!?"

In a series of other videos mum Amy gave a little more context on what happened before and after the clip.

She revealed the sneaky boy first managed to grab the broom from the kitchen area next to the bench, before using it as a prop.

And when she later came into the living room and found him with the sneaky snack. "He didn't really care. He showed me his accomplishment?."
