Model Ashley Graham lauded for sharing 'real' snap of post-baby body: 'The realest one we know'

S?he is a beacon of body positivity for women and known for keeping it real on social media when others fail.

Now model Ashley Graham, 35, has released perhaps one of her 'realest' photos yet and it is taking the internet by storm.

The mother-of-three, who took to Instagram to document her body's changes before and after giving birth to son Isaac, 3, and twins Malachi and Roman, 2, shared a photo yesterday of her squeezing her stomach.

While her waist appears tiny and the bottom of her pert breasts are in view, she has used her own hands to ?grab hold of any excess skin on her stomach.

She uploaded the photo without comment to her Instagram account, where she has 19.8 million followers.

Celebrities and the general public were among those to praise the model for sharing the pic.

"The realest one we know," wrote celebrity makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes, while Hollywood actress and activist Alyssa Milano wrote "Beautiful".

"Thank you," was the simple comment of one fan, while another wrote, "I wish I saw posts like this when I was younger. The impact of photos like these is substantial.?"

But sadly, her post did get the attention of trolls. "That's nasty," wrote one while others reacted with vomiting emojis. Another suggested if she had her money she would get a tummy tuck.

It is not the first time she has been trolled. A series of photos she posted in December in a tiny gold dress while celebrating a friend's 30th birthday saw her ridiculed, with one commenter urging her to "cover up". ?

It is these kinds of negative comments that even led her to delete her Instagram account off her phone for six weeks after the birth of her ?twins.

She made the admission last year during a panel event hosted by Revlon and the mental health platform, Real.

Graham, a Revlon global brand ambassador, said she made the 'liberating' decision to delete Instagram off her phone after a late-night feed จC a move she found 'liberating.'

"I tandem feed the twins, and I'm just sitting there trying to keep myself awake. And what do you do when you try to keep yourself awake in the middle of the night? You go on social media," PEOPLE reported at the time.

She said she spent the time reading or being more present with her children, "instead of sitting there, comparing myself, judging, fantasising about the things I don't have."

Revlon and Real joined forces last year to raise awareness about the importance of mental and emotional health as part of the "Caring For Your Mental Wellness Is Beautiful" campaign.

It highlighted the link between beauty and mental health and how traditional beauty standards could negatively affect mental health.

Graham previously shared a series of photos of her body after welcoming her twins.

"Hi, new tummy. We've been through a lot. Thank you. #3monthspostpartum," she captioned the photos, which included two full body shots displaying stretch marks on her breasts and stomach, as well as a shot of her hand grabbing her stomach.?
