Turia Pitt hits back at cruel troll who says her followers are 'lying' when they praise her looks

Turia Pitt recently hit back at a troll who insinuated that anyone who complimented her appearance was lying.
The follower replied to a comment posted on a separate TikTok video that said "You are so beautiful inside and out."?
"Lying is a sin," they replied, prompting Pitt to reply to his comment in a video.

Addressing the hate comment while brushing her hair, Pitt explains: "So recently I shared a video on here, as you do because it's TikTok and I got a lot of nice comments saying things like, 'wow everything you have been through, you're so amazing, you're so pretty.'?
"Then this person turns up and when someone said to me 'you're so pretty', they said lying is a sin. And I would like to tell you this, being a douche is also a sin."

Pitt captioned the video, tagging the person who made the comment and adding, "Here you go sweets."
While completing a 100km ultra-marathon in 2011, Pitt was caught in a grassfire before being choppered out of the desert.

According to her website, she was barely alive, having burns covering 65 per cent of her body. After two years in recovery, 200 medical appointments and the loss of seven fingers, she managed to survive.?

Many viewers of her recent video were quick to defend the mum-of-two.
"The fact that you've been [through] what you've been through and you're still this amazing, kind, and beautiful person means something."
Her story has clearly resonated with many as another shared: "Turia, I was living in Kununurra when tragedy hit. My heart weeped for you and I have followed you since. You are beautiful and gorgeous and strong."

A third added: "You are an amazing person I've watched you through your whole Journey, you are and always will be beautiful."
Following her accident, Pitt has explored many avenues, writing, being a running instructor, coaching, travel and charity.
Now a mother to two boys, she has a busy life and has also published four books detailing her recovery and life now.
