Unsealed Section: Confessions of Magic Men stripper and former Love Island Australia contestant Jaxon Human

By Bronte Gossling|

W?hen it comes to fetishes, the general consensus is that you don't yuck someone's yum, as long as it's all consensual.

For former Love Island Australia star, Charlie Hunnam lookalike and stripper Jaxon Human, however, there was one request from a client that did stop him short.

Human first started stripping ?12 years ago, one month after he turned 18. Although he is now 29, and has a stint on reality television plus regular performances with Magic Men under his belt, there's one incident that's still on his mind over a decade later.

The request that stopped Jaxon Human short?

It was during his first year of stripping when a fresh-faced Human ?was skeptical of performing private shows, but he was ultimately convinced by his boss, who told him he'd be good at it จC that, and the sheer volume of money.

"The boss was like, 'I've got a job for you on Sunday,'" Human recalls to 9Honey, noting that it was for a baby shower, but a special request on the job sheet told him it wasn't going to be any regular baby shower.

First, it required him to go to a chemist.? Then, he had to buy a nappy, a dummy and a bib.

"She hired me to crawl around her house in my stuff and call her 'Mummy' for five minutes," he says. "I don't understand why she would do that."

Human says ?that at the time, he found it "a bit confronting" and when he told his mates, they all laughed. But he would do it again.

"I guarantee those hundreds of dollars that I did make in those five minutes... it was worth it," he says.

A common misconception Jaxon Human encounters as a male stripper?

There's not much that can shock Human, who is based in Melbourne but ?is currently touring Australia with Magic Men before he embarks on a tour across Canada and the United Kingdom.

?A common misconception he says he encounters from customers of all genders is the perception that because he shows them "the full money", he must be shallow.

"When people have a chat to us, they're actually quite surprised that we are still human beings," Human reveals. "We're not sex symbols."

"Everyone does have an opinion, but the good thing is that when people do chat to us, we definitely do change their perception on how they view us," Human says.

"We do get judged a lot in regards to, 'Those guys are very easy targets to sleep with,'" he adds.

"But all of us are pretty much like every other normal guy on this planet, it's just that we are sort of in the public eye due to [the fact that] we do get naked on stage every single week, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and even sometimes on Wednesdays with our tours."

Maintaining boundaries with clients is a fine line to walk, because although Human's currency is his body and he is making money off being objectified, there's only so much he consents to when he's on the clock.

"There's always and there's always a pros and cons with everything. It's sort of just how you deal with it," Human says, noting he feels sometimes he has to be careful when declining customers' advances as, when there's alcohol involved, interactions can swiftly become unsavoury.

"It's just being indirect but being direct," Human explains, saying if a customer becomes "quite touchy", he'll respectfully explain to her that he's "not an object".

"But if she crosses a line, I get a little bit direct with her and I'll be quite stern because again, we're not objects."

How Jaxon Human balances his personal and professional life

When Human first started stripping, ?he said he enjoyed the "influx of attention" from his customers who were women, but that's something he's since "grown out of" and, over the years, he's actually become "desensitised" to women who pay for his services.

That doesn't mean his girlfriends are always happy with what he does for a job, ?and Human does admit he's currently single as his partners often show "insecurity traits" when it comes to his work จC but he says setting boundaries is a mark of insecurity.

"If she's coming into my life, she needs to already understand what she's getting herself set up with," Human says. "At the end of the day, I'll go home to her, 100 per cent. I'll go out for dinners. But she needs to understand there needs to be a balance."

Relationship experts often highlight the importance of setting boundaries in situations like this, and Human does note that "everyone has a different view."?

Human emphasises that regardless of someone's job, if someone thinks you're attractive, they're "still going to slide into your DMs."

"If you're married, if you're engaged, if you are have a partner, you are still going to get approached and you're still going to the attention is still going to be there," Human says. "The jealousy will only come from being insecure."

Human says he sees boundaries as something "negative" as it doesn't allow him to "progress" as there's "always an expectation."?

"You just have to go with the flow," Human says. "It's more trust, and trust just comes over time."

"I'm not willing to give up my job for anyone," he continues. I know, [looking on] from the outside, I'm grinding on women, throwing them, lifting above my head, you know, putting my head between their legs on-stage. But again, it is just a craft, and an art."
