By Merryn Porter |

P?arents of young children know you need to take care when talking to them, in case what you say is misconstrued or taken out of context.

Now US cookbook author Jenny Mollen has found this out the hard way after a conversation with her young son prompted a frantic email from a worried school teacher.

Mollen, who is married to actor Jason Biggs, of the American Pie movie franchise fame, was holidaying without her children, Sid, 8, and Lazlo, 5, in Denmark's capital Copenhagen.

She had clearly told her children about some of the Danish delicacies.

That is when she received an email from a teacher, whose name is Karen.

"Dear Ms. Biggs, today in school your son shared with his classmates that you are in Copenhagen on an adult trip and have been eating (pardon my language) 'tonnes of penis'.

"While I hate to bother you on your vacation, I felt strongly that you should be aware and perhaps address the issue at your earliest convenience."

"The best thing I've read all month!!! Dead!?" said one.

"Even got the reindeer pun in there with the 'reign it in'. This woman is genius," wrote another.
