Mum reveals her trick to tell identical triplets apart

By Naomi White|

If you're a parent to identical multiples, the question 'But how do you tell them apart?' is as common as the 'But how do you manage?'.

Strangers love to fire these out like it's the first time these parents have been asked, rather than the fourth since they've left the house.

So one mum decided to show how, since she lives with her identical triplets 24/7 she's managed to be able to tell them apart.

And there's not a painting-one-nail, colour coded dressing or other trick among her methods. Instead, she relies on their size, temperament and unique facial expressions.

Sharing a video to TikTok, Meg Korzon from the US, who also has a ?four-year-old daughter Piper, introduced each triplet and gave a run-through of Elias, Oliver and Leo's characteristics.

"People ask us all the time and we're going to try, how do I tell my identical triplets apart," she begins.

First showing us Oliver, she explained how he was easy to pick as he is the smallest. He was also the most independent and easily frustrated of the trip. A blocked tear duct, which leaves him with one red and watery eye was also a giveaway.?

We then meet Leo, the 'middle sized' of the toddlers, who has a longer, thinner face and bigger eyes and 'pronounced' skin tag on one finger.

Lucky last is Elias, the biggest twin who scrunches his nose when he smiles and has a rounder face than his brothers. ?

Many were impressed by how well she knew each of the boys. "They are so identical but you know each of them pretty well," one follower praised.

However, others said they were so alike they weren't convinced she wasn't using the same child throughout.

"You cannot tell me that this isn't the same baby through the whole video!" said one. "I saw Oliver three times," agreed another.

Fellow parents of multiples also shared their own methods for telling their kids apart.

"Her: so informative, individual attention to detail, personalities me: colour-coded wristbands?," joked one.

"My auntie has triplets, they're all five now and they have these necklaces that they always where one's orange, one's pink and one's purple, that's how I tell," shared another.?

The mum of four frequently shares adorable videos of her crew on Instagram and TikTok, winning hearts worldwide.
