Pregnant Kelly Osbourne defends choice to stay on medication and not breastfeed

Kelly Osbourne has defended her decision to stay on medication and to not breastfeed
Speaking on Red Table Talk, Osbourne said, "I have chosen to stay on my medication instead of breastfeeding and the judgment that I have received from my friends and also extended family is wild."
The pregnant star said that people close to her have mum-shamed her for that choice.

"'You're going to miss out on that bonding period' - don't you think I know that?" she asserted. "But what kind of mother am I going to be if I start going backwards, if I start being self-destructive?"
"It has to be what's best for me, what's gonna be the best for my baby," The Osbournes alum said.
Osbourne appeared on Red Table Talk alongside actress Hayden Panettiere who discussed her battle with postpartum depression following the birth of her daughter, Kaya.
"One of the things I've realised is that there is so much judgment in motherhood," Osbourne revealed, as host Jada Pinkett-Smith nodded in agreement. ?

Despite facing judgment, the 37-year-old said that she has found pregnancy the "roughest, most weirdest, wildest thing" and being pregnant has elicited "a great respect" for her mother, Sharon Osbourne.
Her appearance on the talk show has given fans a very rare glimpse at the star's baby bump and an intimate look into her pregnancy journey.
Osbourne announced her pregnancy along with her partner, Sid Wilson on Instagram earlier this year writing:
"I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!"

Osbourne and the Slipknot DJ have been long-time friends and are now parents-to-be. The pair are believed to have met?back in 1999 at Ozzfest.
"After 23 years of friendship I can't believe where we have ended up!" the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne wrote online.
"You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson."
