'Didn't expect it to end in tears': Woman's horror after finding out her own mum ruined her gender reveal

For mums-to-be, there's nothing quite as special as finding out whether you're pregnant with a boy or girl.
But one woman's gender reveal turned into a disaster after her mother ruined it with her own stunt, pranking her with the wrong gender.?
Koko shared her own version of the "you think you can hurt me?" TikTok trend alongside a video of the moment.?

"You think you can hurt me? My mum purposely put the wrong gender at my own reveal," read the text over the clip.?
In the video Koko was surrounded by what appears to be close friends and family as she popped a balloon จC revealing blue inside for a boy.?
She screamed and jumped around in absolute joy, celebrating the moment and clearly delighted by the news.?

But then she was handed an envelope and inside found a printed piece of paper with "It's a girl" on it.?
In that moment her excitement flipped to sadness, and you could tell she was so upset and disappointed about what just happened and walked away.?
"All I wanted was a beautiful moment. I didn't expect it to end in tears," she captioned the video.?
Despite her sadness in the moment, she also included clips of herself during a stunning maternity shoot and another of her newborn baby girl in hospital.?
People have been sounding off in the comments about how wrong it was for her mum to do this.?
"This was evil," one person commented.?
"The way she stood over you to film your disappointed face," commented another.
One person added, "What a horrible thing to do to you! That's not funny or cute esp if she knew you wanted a boy!"?

Some people lashed out at Koko for her reaction, blaming her reaction on the fact that she wasn't having a boy.?
Although one person commented, "she's not upset that's it's a girlกญshe's upset cause she was deceived."?
Others suggested it's not uncommon for pranks to be played at gender reveals, dragging out the moment a bit longer.?
"Gender reveals are not the time to be playing pranks, idk why y'all feel it is. Emotions are too high to be playing around," replied another person.
