'Epic fail': Mum-to-be left speechless as fianc¨¦ ruins gender reveal

G?ender reveals are no longer as simple as they used to be. From coloured confetti canons, coloured cupcakes and the incorporation of family pets, it's all about making the reveal as unique as possible.
For one couple, however, all of their planning went down the drain after the dad-to-be accidently ruined their sports-themed gender reveal.
?"Gender reveal gone wrong," mum-to-be Indya Jeffries captioned the video, which showed the moment that left her and their guests speechless.

In the video posted to ?her TikTok page, Jeffries is standing next to her fianc¨¦ surrounded by family and friends at their gender reveal party, ready for the big reveal.
Behind them is a big banner which reads 'Boy or Girl' and ?the dad-to-be is holding a soccer ball.
Inside the ball is a coloured powder that will reveal the gender of their baby, and his task was to kick the ball to burst it and uncover the colour.
Though it sounds like a simple task, he ends up making a big mistake.
Following a countdown, he drops the call and gives it a full-force kick... in the wrong direction.

?The ball ends up flying into the neighbour's yard without bursting, and his fianc¨¦ lets out a big gasp.
"Oh no!" the person behind the camera is heard yelling out as everyone realises the moment has been ruined.
?One guest finds it so hilarious they let out a big laugh.
Jeffries shared the video of the 'epic fail' online, which has now been seen over one million people.
She said ?the ball ended up exploding with colour in the neighbour's yard, as they didn't realise it needed to be kicked in a specific spot.
"Preparing the neighbours for the years of 'excuse me can I have my ball back please?'," one person commented on the hilarious clip.

Another asked, ?"Is it the next door neighbours baby?"
The couple did end finding out they were expecting a little girl, later posting a video of a 'backup reveal' they quickly put together, which was a balloon confetti pop.
