Let's hear it for teachers - true heroes who put up with a lot of stress and all too often, hijinks from their students.
School sure is a breeding ground for creativity.
And this is reflected in these hilarious notes kids have sent to their teachers.

A high school history teacher in the US was surprised and touched by his student's maturity after reading a message he scrawled at the bottom of his exam.
"One of my guys, a straight A+ guy, offered up his 5 bonus points to someone in need. Anyone," the teacher recounted.
"He totally offered up what was rightfully his, his earning, to any peer that may have been struggling especially hard the day of the test. He wasn't concerned whether he deemed them a friend or if they were trendy. It was of no consequence to him what circumstances had led to their lower score. He just wanted to help, be kind, and commit a loving act."
Not only did the educator honour the student's request, but the five points he awarded to the lowest-ranking student actually helped her move from from a failing grade to a passing grade, for which the recipient was "very thankful".
"I had honestly never seen anything like this happen... This note gave me so much hope," the teacher penned.
Think report cards only go one way? Not according to the Year Two student behind this brutal review of her teacher's efforts throughout the year.
Posting a photo of the hand-scrawled report, a woman on Reddit reminded us all just how harsh kids can be.
While teachers' reports often sandwich any negative feedback alongside a positive, there was no wasting space saying nice things for this author.
Among the teacher's indiscretions - and the resulting marks, were:
Many on Reddit praised the spirited student for their candour.
"This is too funny, I wouldn't even be mad if some kid gave this to me!," said one.
"Imagine getting hard roasted at work by kids who still sit in booster seats," joked another.
"Damn that is the most brutal report card I've ever seen! Savage kids," added a third.
"Wow! That kid called it like he saw it. And certainly didn't hold anything back!" said a third.
While another simply said: "This kid is clearly awesome."?
It's always a little daunting handing parents homework that may not have the best grade on it - just not for kids who have graded it themselves.
In a hilarious homework paper snapped and posted to Reddit, a mum ?has shared with others how her child attempted to fool her with his own grading job.
Captioned, "I have a feeling our 7 yr old is forging his teacher's markups... It's just a hunch..?" the photo showed a the paper marked with a coloured texter and questionable handwriting.

The student gave himself full grades for the math's homework, and even wrote a big 'Grate job!' across the page to really sell it to his parents. Though the misspelling of 'great' could have been the big giveaway.
The mum couldn't help but commend her little one on his brave attempt, with other agreeing that it was a clever more.
"Of all skills a child can pick up in school I think the one presented right here is the greatest," one person wrote.
Others called the kid a 'genius'! Not sure his teacher would agree though...
B?odies have a way of betraying us sometimes.
While most of us escape with no worse than a loud hunger grumble in a quiet meeting, spare a thought for one student who accidentally let one rip ¨C right in the middle of his school principal's speech on 'being respectful' to guest speakers.
The clearly remorseful Year Six student decided to own up to his indiscretion, penning a handwritten apology explaining why it couldn't be held.
It reads:?
?"Dear Mr [X],
I'm sorry that I passed gas during while you were talking. I know that it was direspective [sic] and I feel terrible about it. I didn't mean to let it out. Sometimes when you hold it in, it just comes out.
I am truly sorry and will never do it again. I feel very ashamed and guilt that I did it. I hope you forgive me.
Truly sorry."
The note's author, who is now an adult, shared it to Reddit after recently rediscovering it, where it has delighted users.
"Upstaged by flatulence," joked one. "No matter who you are, no matter how much power you command, no matter how many people are listening, the fart during your speech steals your thunder," agreed another.
Others shared their own tales of ill-timed farts.?
"I had a friend who let one rip while sitting on a wooden pew during a quiet prayer time, we still laugh about it 30 years later?," one shared.
"I've been in a couple video calls where somebody ripped a¨C¨C and it was picked up pretty well by the mic. In one everyone kinda paused for a moment so I'm pretty sure the farter knew they'd been heard," added another.
T?his little girl took her assignment very seriously when asked to picture herself in her old age.
Tasked with drawing herself at her current age of seven, she drew a smiling girl with her arms out.
But when asked to draw herself aged 100... things got a little morbid.
Rather than adding some curly white hair, walking stick or other features we'd expect of a centenarian?, she drew herself as a skeleton.
Sketching a neat little skull, ribs, and bones, she was leaving no doubt about just how old she thought the age 100 was.
Her bemused mum shared the hilarious note to Reddit, captioning it: "My daughter is very much a realist...?" where it delighted many.
"I like how she's smiling in both drawings," one kindly said. "I love this so much! Couldn't stop laughing."
"How I look vs. how I feel," joked another.
?"Your daughter gets it. I hope the time between the two self-portraits is filled with a lot of love, joy, and contentment," added another.
Others took offence with the homework question itself.
"This is a terrible assignment. It makes no sense," said one.
A proud mum has shared her little girl's response to a homework assignment, which shows a 'heartbreaking' display of care and support for her teacher ¨C and, sadly, an awareness of an important social issue. ?
"My seven-year-old daughter was asked what she'd do with $100," the mum of one from Alaska in the US wrote on Reddit, alongside a photo of the task.
"Her answer is precious."
The homework asks students to imagine they had $100 that they had to give away to a person or charity; "To whom would you give it? What would you want them to do with it?"
The little ?girl replied with:
"I would give it to my teacher so that she could buy more stuff because, she may not have enough money! Okay! Oh for stuff she needs like apples, strawberries, soap or things her kids need."
To shed more light on the note and school circumstances, the mum revealed her daughter's school is about to close? due to financial hardship. Sadly, Alaska has been very hard hit by the national teacher shortage in the US and is struggling to fill positions.
"They're closing her school. I think she just wants to help so they keep it open. She's sad to lose her friends and teachers," she revealed, adding that Alaska is "billions of dollars in debt".
People flooded the post with praise and support for the student ¨C and voiced their concerns about the school closures.
"This breaks my heart to hear!" said one commenter. "How kind of the girl, tragic this is a thing."
?"That's really sweet but also... sad," admitted another. "This seven-year-old kid already understands that teachers are underpaid."
"Not something they should be worrying about. Teachers hold a very powerful place in our children's young minds," declared a fourth.
And from this teacher: "Aww that's sweet. As a teacher and single mum, I know that it's a struggle sometimes for a lot of teachers. Most of us teach because we genuinely love what we do, not because the pay is awesome."
More than one student in the class reminded their teacher to look after her neglected roots following a class drawing activity.
"My third-grade students took a vested interest in my roots growing out," she laughed.
One clever little kid outsmarted his own teacher with a connect the dots challenge, revealing a 100.
Even the teacher conceded, "Ya got me..."
One student simply couldn't take the smell of her teacher's breath anymore and sent him a brutally honest letter, accompanied with a piece of stale gum.
"I'm sorry you had to find out like this," she wrote.
One student tried to play it cool by writing out her thoughts after she completely blanked on her essay topic.
"I honestly have no clue what I am supposed to be writing about," she declared. "Oh wow, this is going to be a depressing free write to look back on."
Before admitting, "I feel like a slacker" and blaming the "goddamn internet".
Awww... at least she is being honest and signed off with a love heart.
When asked to draw what happened in 2004, one child managed to draw a detailed picture of his own birth.
The creative sketch featured his mum with her legs spread out, and the doctor holding up him as a baby triumphantly.
One child has prayed for his teacher's downfall after she took away 25 of his Hummingbird bucks, "all because I was talking to Connor.
"That's no big deal I'm only 6, I can't be quiet all the time," he defends himself, before calling her a "thief and a crook".
One teacher found a lovely little note as she was finishing off her coffee that read:
"I'm sorree for sneezing in your caufe. I love you."
Not wanting to be the first to submit their test, one student decided to make the most of their time by creating a drawing pf "people worshipping the math gods."
The illustration includes a "calulator man", an "abicus or however you spell it", a "dude with a fan" next to the ultimate math god, and even a human "sacrifice" burning in the fire.
Just as teachers want the best for their students, students also want the best for their teachers.
One child decided to let her teacher know that her "only wish for Christmas is to find Ms. Connell a man and then get married and then have kids", accompanied with a drawing of Ms. Connell and her soon-to-be boyfriend in a heart.
One senior student decided to give the gift of "motivation" to his teacher on Teachers Appreciation Day after realising he had a failing grade.
