Couple left mortified over gender reveal prank: 'Please don't judge'

A? mum-to-be has been put through an emotional rollercoaster during her gender reveal, after being pranked by her family and friends.
Tiffany Elewin posted the video of the crazy moment to her TikTok, after finally finding the humour in the prank which had her pushing over the reveal box.
The video which has been viewed by over 3.5 million people seemingly showing that the mum had a preference for what gender her baby was going to be going into the event.

?In the video, Elewin and her partner are opening up a big cardboard box that has been decorated for the big reveal, excited to find out what the gender of their first baby will be based on the colours of the balloons inside.
The minute the couple open the box Elewin lets out a major scream, ?"It's a girl!" The mum is clearly ecstatic at the news, though her reaction very quickly changes.
As she pulls out the balloons from the box, she realises she has mistaken the rose gold coloured balloons in there for pink.
Her family and friends had set up the balloons to not actually reveal the gender of the baby, but were rather pranking the colour in order to reveal it a different way.
?As guests at the party start to laugh at the couple, Elewin turns around and smacks the box to the ground clearly disappointed by the fact that it didn't reveal a girl.

"Gender reveal pranks are not the one," she captioned the video uploading it to her TikTok account.
The video gathered the attention of thousands who started to question why the woman was upset by the result.
"Why would you be disappointed, jeez?," one person asked.
However, others supported the mum in her feelings, defending her reaction and apparent preference for one gender.
"I feel the same. I'm only having this one child and it's a boy. I'll love him to death but I've only ever dreamed of a daughter," one woman wrote.
"Gender disappointment is REAL on top of hormones, it's rough. No judgement, went through it twice," said another mum.
However, not all is what it seems.
Following the misinterpretation from followers, Elewin uploaded another video to her page which captured the moments before she opened that box revealing it was all a prank.
"These balloons were in every box. I was disappointed because I thought this was the reveal," she explained as she showed there were several boxes set up with the same balloons continuously fooling the couple.
"Fed up with people assuming," she responded on the video.
"Please don't judge before you get the whole story."
She then also uploaded another clip showing the final legitimate reveal which was her puppy dog walking into the room with a set of pink balloons tied to the collar.

She was indeed having a girl. Elewin was captured jumping up and down and clapping as she finally realised.
"?My emotions could not handle that roller coaster," one person wrote on the video, applauding the mum for putting up with the pranks.
"I would be so upset if someone did this to me," said another.
"Woo, congrats on your baby girl!" wrote a third.
