When it comes to babies, there's no one right size.
But while we're used to seeing petite babies in teeny tiny onsies, not every baby comes out average sized. ?
From babies whose size broke records, to those who left hospital in clothes made for a six-month-old, we take a look at some of the big and beautiful babies from around the world and celebrate the bubs who are that extra bit cuddly.?

Spare a thought for a woman in Brazil, who had to birth a record-breaking 7.3kg baby.
Mum Cleidiane Santos dos Santos gave birth to her baby Angerson dos Santos at the Hospital Padre Colombo in Parintins last month.
Delivered by caesarean-section, the baby weighed in at a whopping 7,328kg and measured 60cm long.
Sharing the news on their social media pages, declaring "giant baby is born", the hospital said Angerson is believed to be the biggest baby born in the state.
A?ngerson stayed in the hospital for more than a week, before he and his mother were discharged.
The hospital said he had taken to breastfeeding and was doing well.
As the family left the hospital, they were farewelled by the medical team who helped care for Angerson.
According to she "didn't expect this surprise."?
T?his mum looks like she may have a future basketball player on her hands.
Mum ?KC Smith posted the photo of her daughter Ryan Reece to Instagram, joking she "was going to need back surgery" after carrying her nine-month-old around.
Many were shocked by how tall the bub was. "She's as big as my three-year-old," said one.
"Omg! What are you feeding her?! She is the freaking cutest!" said another.
"My goodness that child is gonna be like seven feet tall. They are half the size of you now," added another.
When mum Ruby Eden was getting close to her due date, she was told her baby would weigh around 4kg.
Instead, her bub came out at 5kg, with the mum joking on TikTok that "he was extremely popular on the ward."
Ruby also shared that her son, Teddie, was eight days late, which may account for why he was on the larger side.
Proud uncle Davison Abrantes was so shocked when he saw his nephews sitting next to one another.
Despite the eldest being three and the youngest just three months, there seemed little size difference between the two.
Sharing the snap to TikTok, Davison captioned it: "I don't know how a three-month-old can get this big."
Many of his followers shared his amazement.?
"NFL already drafted him," joked one. "He's the big brother now," said another.
Mum Nabille McHugh regularly posts about life with her tiny-giant sized son.
In one of her most recent TikTok clips, she shared all the positives about having a bigger bub, joking her adorable son was her 'personal bodyguard'.
Saying he was ?'super cuddly' and gave her a 'great arm workout' the mum shared all the joys of having a big bub.
In an earlier video Nabille explained that she is often asked what her son's birth weight was, but said it was only 3.5kg .
O?ne mum, Kat, reached instant viral fame after posting this clip of her baby son Gavin gleefully jumping on (we're guessing?) his dad's back.
Posting with the hashtag #bigbaby, it quickly attracted lots of attention, with many in awe of his height.
"Look at the size of that thing... there is no way that that is scientifically a baby?," said one.
"?That kid looks like he's seven or nine," added another.
P?roving that you don't have to be petite to have a giant baby, mum Kayla said she was taken by surprise when her daughter, who was born at 3.3kg, kept growing.
Sharing a TikTok of her daughter against her 5"2 frame, the mum wrote: "Me thinking my baby will be super tiny like i've always been while pregnant," before showing herself holding her bub, who looks close to half her height.
Adding that her baby took after her father, who she described as "tall and big".
In a follow up clip, Kayla said her little girl, now 20 months, was now almost 90cm. ?
A US mum recently revealed in a TikTok video that she gave birth to her son who weighed in at more than 6.5kgs via c-section.
The mum who goes by @Shans1588 on TikTok, said the hospital was so ill-prepared for the size of her baby that they had no nappies or clothing to fit him at the time.
US mum Alexa Priego loves to share videos of her 'chunky baby' Kason whose size constantly surprises people online and in person.
Kason is 10-months-old though appears to already have reached the typical size of a toddler, his chubby legs and arms capturing the hearts of millions in videos on TikTok.
His mum Priego told followers that although he was born an average weight, at 3.6kg, her son's weight accelerated post-birth and he seems to keep growing rapidly.
As cute as Kason is, mum Priego says that she does get negative comments about his size from people. "I've been picked on three times today, all because of my baby," she captioned a recent video.
"Look at the size of him," notes the audio as she holds up her son.
Though the majority of her followers are big fans of her boy. "Babies are SUPPOSED to be chunky! He understood the assignment!" one person commented on her page.
Not-so-little Harper Buckley was born in New York State in 2019, weighing in at a hefty ?7.2kg and measuring 58.4cm.
The baby girl broke the record for the biggest baby born at Arnot Ogden Medical Centre ?and as her mum Joy told WPEC CBS12 News, her size shocked everyone.
?"I knew she was going to be big but I didn't anticipate no 15-pound baby," she said.
Harper had to spend some time in the NICU to have her blood sugar and oxygen levels monitored, however her parents were told she was otherwise in good health.?
When baby Maoama Ala was born in Melbourne in 2018, he was put straight into clothes made for a three to six month old.
The baby boy broke the hospital's then record for their biggest bub, weighing in at ?6.3kg.
Hi proud mum Teu - who opted for a Cesarean said he was her fourth baby, and the biggest she'd had.
"They were asking, did they [her other children] look like him when they were babies. I was like, 'Yeah, but the difference is the size'," she told 9News at the time.
Dr Lauren De Luca from Sunshine Hospital, where Maoama was born, said staff were amazed by his size.?
"It's off the charts. The last big baby we had here was 6.23 kilos back in 2013," she said.
Spare a thought for this super-mum Nikki, who gave birth to her 5.75kg daughter Parker - without any pain relief.
The Blacktown Midwifery Group Practice shared the news of her birth. ?
As (then) Women's & Children's divisional nurse manager Helen Konowec told Nine, she was one of the bigger babies they'd seen, with the average birth weight around 3.5kg.
"Though, the range of normal can be between 2.5 and 4.5 kilograms," Ms Konowec said."The mother had scans during pregnancy for foetal growth."
Despite Parker's size, it's understood Nikki was in labour for just 2.5 hours.?
At a 37-week ultrasound Erika Weber's doctor's recommended she be scheduled in for a caesarean section, as her son was weighing in at 4.5kgs at the time.
The mum revealed on TikTok that she ended up in labour they day before the scheduled birth, delivering her son at a whopping 5.6kgs.
She said he was so big that he was wearing three-month-old clothing from the minute he was born, moving to the 18-month-old size at just six-months-old.
Baby Gianna became a hit on TikTok when her Aunt Francesca posted photos of her at her birth, weighing in at 5.02kgs.
The big girl was delivered via c-section and left doctor's stunned on arrival.
"She was born a toddler!" one person commented on the video of the baby girl. "Just like my son. I didn't even get to use any of his smaller clothing," another wrote.
Maisie Lily Macdonald took out the record for the biggest baby born at Queensland's Rockhampton Hospital when she was born via C-section in 2017.
The newborn weighed in at 6.02kg?, a surprise to his parents, who had been warned they would have a big baby, but never predicted this large.
"I went for a growth scan at about 37 weeks and she was weighing about ten pound then," mum Makaela told the Today Show.
"I certainly didn't think she'd come out at 13 pounds."
"I was pretty stoked. I couldn't believe she was six kilograms, it's cool," her dad Mason added.
The heaviest baby (to survive birth) on record was born in Italy in 1955.
According to the Guinness World Records, the baby boy was born weighing a whopping 10.2kg, to healthy mum Cermelina Fedele in Aversa.
He was also reportedly 28 inches - or 71cm long.
