When Chloe Sutton welcomed her first child, a bouncing baby boy in February 2024, he weighed about three kilograms จC less than the average weight of an Aussie baby.

Fast-forward to now, and Sutton is often accused on social media of using AI to make her son, who is now a 19-month-old toddler, appear larger than he is.

Sutton, 26, a self-described wellness, motherhood and lifestyle? influencer from Queensland's Gold Coast, had no reason to suspect her son, who is ?aptly named Grizzly, would grow so large when she and her husband welcomed him at the start of 2024.

At birth, he weighed three kilograms, or six pounds seven ounces, which is below the average birthweight of babies in Australia which is 3.5 kilograms, or 7.7 pounds.

But as the weeks turned into months and then a year, he grew and grew, and soon she she started documenting his size on her TikTok account chloesapic using the hashtag #bigbaby.

When she posted a short video about Grizzly's size in July 2024, it quickly went viral, racking up more than 3.5 million views.

"Are five-month-old babies meant to be this big?"? Sutton said in the video, as she proudly displayed her son.

"Because he is already in toddler nappies... Am I raising a D-Linesman?" she asked, in reference to a position in American football.

?"He looks like he'll enjoy college next year!" wrote one follower.

"I need him in my rugby team in a few years," wrote another.

"He fixed my car back in 1984," another quipped.

Then in September 2024, ?Sutton gave an update that has since racked up almost 34 million views.

"My son is seven months old and he is officially more than half my size,?" Sutton said to the camera, as she proudly showed off the adorable tot.

The post went on to receive 1.7 million likes and 18,000 comments.

"Baby pro max," quipped one. "He's a Viking," wrote another.

Since then, Sutton has continued to show off her son's size as part of her content.

In one video, she lamented that she realised her son was bigger than average when her GP called him a 'unit' and sent him to a paediatrician for a check-up with the words 'big baby' on the referral. ?

Many of her followers' questions revolve around the size of herself and her husband. In one video, she said she is often accused of lying about her husband's height.

For the record, she says he is 187cm tall while she is about 167cm tall.

But even then she never imagined his size would become such a talking point or that her followers would start accusing her of using AI to make her son look larger than he is.

She addressed the matter in a TikTok video back in August when she said a lot of people thought her son was AI.

She even displayed a comment from a follower on the screen, which said, "God AI is getting better every day".

More recently, the mum has been forced to deny her son is AI-generated. (TikTok/@chloesapic)

"He's not AI. This is my son. He is 18 months old. He is just a big baby," she said?.

She had to raise the matter again just last month.

"Once again I'm getting these comments," she said as she held her son and a comment from a follower asking "That's AI, right?" was shown on the screen.

"No, my son is not AI-generated or AI-edited. He's just a big boy," she said.

"He's 19 months old now and over half my length," she continued as she stood back to show how long he is in comparison with his mother.

With Sutton saying she is about 167cm tall, this would make Grizzy at least 84cm จC which is actually about average for a boy of his age.?
