The series helped Patrick Dempsey make a name for himself, afterwards starring in projects like Enchanted, Valentine's Day, Bridget Jones's Baby, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and Ferrari.
But he is willing to "walk away" from his almost four-decade-long acting career for his favourite hobby.?
When he's away from the cameras, the actor enjoys auto racing?, having amassed an impressive sports car and vintage car collection over the years.

Prior to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013, he dropped what would be a bombshell to ?his fans.
"I would like to make that [motorsports] a complete priority and just focus on this full-time," he told Eurosport.
"If I could just walk away from acting, I think I could do that very easily, and just focus on the driving, I would love that more than anything else."
One year later he formed his own team, Dempsey Racing, ?and later took a break before returning to racing in May this year with the Porsche Endurance Challenge North America.
