Teacher defends herself against criticism over 'inappropriate' outfits

A teacher in the US has hit back at social media followers who have criticised her over her choice of dress in the classroom.
The primary school teacher, who is from New Jersey and shares content on Instagram and TikTok @toyboxdollz, shares photos from the classroom, sharing her experiences teaching children.
In one post she posted a photo during an art session at school and wrote: "Finally got to do a fun painting day with the kids! Kindergarden had so much fun making these! This event was sponsored to our school by a local church.
"This was just amazing! I honestly can't wait to start doing all my children's events this summer."

In another she talks about making it through to the summer break this school year with the comment: "I really want to wish all my students and all school faculty super heroes a phenomenal summer!
"This year was such a ridiculous blessing for us! Even though Covid kicked our butts we made it through!"
However her social media posts have attracted comments about her body and choice of dress, with many deeming her various outfits "inappropriate."
"We had a hot teacher in school. She didn't flaunt her body around with sexually suggestive pics tho," one person wrote.
"Taking a booty pic while wishing the faculty and students well," added another.
One person commented: "You couldn't be my teacher frfr (for real for real) because you'd be a complete and utter distraction frfr this is f--king ridiculous."
"Why did you do this to yourself?" another added, assuming she had undergone cosmetic surgery to achieve this look.
"You're in a classroom taking Instagram pictures with your aจC out," another said. "Showing pictures in the class with your butt in the air is very inappropriate!"
One person commented: "That just looks crazy and makes you desperate for likes."
The teacher responded to the comments, explaining in a TikTok video: "I'm a really, really good teacher," she continued. "I had students emailing me during the summer asking me for homework. They love art. I love teaching art. I love working with children to create art."
In her most recent video shared on TikTok @toyboxdollz she urges her critics to keep in mind amidst the debate about her body the fact there is currently a teacher's shortage in the US.
"Hey when everyone is done debating back and forth on whether or not my curves are appropriate or inappropriate to exist on this planet earth, I need you guys to do me a quick favour," she said in the video. "Research really fast, its real quick... 'teacher shortage'... look that up."

She added: "When you look that up, then go back and leave a comment."
And many of her followers jumped to her defense.
"U R (you are) Wonderful , Let them hate. That's what haters do, Hate," one person commented.
"I am failing to see what was considered inappropriateกญ.. unless some of the moms are threatened by her body type? The kids in her class are not complaining nor have they make any statements so who has the problem? I hope the school board doesn't react because this is unfoundedกญ do you girl," another said.
One person commented: "Stop hating on her she got a body god have her damn what's wrong with ppl (people).
Another said: "You know this teacher who is catching heat for her body?! that's amazing bc this art teacher catches heat for her body too, i just found her today and she is gorgeous. I refuse to let them hurt me, bully me, break me bc I was valedictorian and my brains are what is sexy!
"Praise to this beauty who obviously has brains!"
