PinkĄ¯s epic clapback to her 'parent police' on Instagram

By Holly Anderson|

If there was an award for coolest mum of the year, Pink would be a top contender.

Seemingly fed up with the comments that flood her social channels criticising her and husband Carey HartĄ¯s parenting style, the pop star shut down the ĄŽparenting policeĄ¯ in hilarious fashion on Wednesday.

Sharing a summer snapshot of her eight-year-old daughter, Willow, enjoying the sun on Instagram, the mum-of-two included a sassy clapback in the photo's caption.

Ą°HereĄ¯s a picture of my child running through water. It wasnĄ¯t even filtered,Ąą Pink joked, poking fun at the hysterical commentary she typically receives on her photos.?????????????????????????

Ą°What a waste of water. And no helmet? I hope she had sunscreen.

"If she slips and falls she may be traumatised for life. And her mother wasnĄ¯t even there. I was... gasp... working!!!! In another country!Ąą

Pink's bold statement had fans rallying behind her, with one commenting; Ą°You are an inspirationĄ I adore you as a mum and talented performer and woman.Ąą

This type of drama is old news for Pink, who has been changing the way in which she shares her families lives with the world.

She stated in an April interview with Ellen DeGeneres that she would Ą°no longer post photos of her children on social media.Ąą

The decision came after a barrage of negative comments was left on a shot of her two-year-old son, Jameson, not wearing nappies.

"People went as far as saying, 'Someone should call Child Services,' because he didn't have a diaper on,Ą¯ and ĄŽHow dare I?Ą¯ ĄĒ just some of the nastiest things," the singer explained.

"I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family ... I'm prouder of my kids than anything I've ever done and I just won't share them anymore. I won't do it."

Now she's telling the world to mind their own business when it comes to her and her family, and we're backing her all the way.
