Hilarious 'mishap' at Melbourne Kmart sees store stocked with hundreds of $89 cult item

Kmart is well known as a shopping haven, but when one customer walked into their local store, they learnt this lesson all the more.?

O?ne Kmart shopper was totally stunned to be inundated with pink suitcases, with what seemed like hundreds of them on display in every single crevice of the Melbourne CBD store.

The TikTok user by the name of Paul uploaded a video of the insane amount of pink suitcases in the store prompting many to wonder what had happened.

They were not only completely overtaking the travel section, but they also crowded the foot of every escalator and were lined along every balcony, crammed into every spare nook and cranny the store had.?

"Someone at Kmart is getting fired," the TikTok user joked, "Who ordered all these pink suitcases?"?

What makes the situation even more hilarious is that this store is Melbourne's biggest, spanning three whole storeys in a building in the middle of the bustling CBD, which means the suitcases span a surface area far greater than the average Kmart store.

One commenter claims the suitcases have been there for close to a month. ?

"I went to Melbourne central Kmart like two or three weeks ago! It's still like that!?" they questioned.

"Next thing [you know] the airport carousel will have 20 of these and everyone [will be] taking the wrong one," joked another.

Others claimed it's causing stock issues at other stores.?

"I wanted the same one for my daughter and they've been out of stock, I just double checked the website and they're still out of stock everywhere in NZ," said one commenter.

"Someone got too excited for Barbie," joked another.
