Best Selfie: 'Not the moment I thought it was': The fashion move Christian Wilkins wishes he could take back

From the moment we came up with the idea for Best Selfie, Christian Wilkins was at the top of the must-have list.
As the son of one of Australia's most recognised entertainment identities, Richard Wilkins, Christian has pop culture in his blood, realising at a young age that all things entertainment and fashion is where his passion lies.

So when 9Honey sat down with Wilkins to chat about his old Instagram photos, it was no surprise the collection was full of pristine fashion choices and epic celebrity cameos.
"I do remember the day that I met Kim Kardashian, because it's actually the same day that I met Angelina Jolie. That was a good day," Wilkins told 9Honey of their photo together.
"I met both of those amazing women because my dad was interviewing them.
"I got to talk to Kim, she's lovely and very friendly. She introduced herself to everyone, including all the sound and camera guys, which really stuck with me as a really lovely gesture."

Following high school, Wilkins spent much of his early years in studios writing and recording his music, working on his voice and composing skills.
As he refined his abilities in this area, he decided to attend several acting classes, including a course at the prestigious Atlantic Theatre Group in New York.
With an unapologetic sense of self and a unique style, Wilkins is a regular on the A-lister social scenes and his name and style have become synonymous with red carpets around Australia. But in 2014, his signature lucious blonde hair was transformed into a more vibrant colour.
"It was so much fun having pink hair, but I'm so glad that it's over. "It was not the moment that I thought it was," he laughs.
The next few weeks are expected to be busy for Wilkins as Sydney hosts World Pride.
The global event is awarded to a different host city?every two to three years.
The first WorldPride took place in Rome in July 2000, and in 2019, Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras was successful in winning the bid to host it in Sydney in 2023, having competed against Houston, USA and Montreal, Canada.
"I think World Pride should be really important to anyone that really appreciates inclusivity," Wilkins says.

"It's such a special time, especially Mardi Gras every year here in Sydney and having all these extra people fly in from all over the world is incredible".
Wilkins will be spending the next two weeks "celebrating with [his] nearest and dearest on Oxford Street."
"I love Instagram because I think it gives you a platform to reach out to so many more people than you necessarily could obviously see on the street," he says.
"And I think trying to be an advocate for visibility for queer people, it's amazing to get to reach so many people that you might not normally
